Avec son lot de surprises et d’imprévus, la vie l’inspire dans toute son instabilité. Son art est en perpétuel changement. Au détour d’une pensée, un poème de Verlaine lui inspire le titre d’une toile. D’un coup de pinceau vif et rapide, l’artiste aime saisir le mouvement. Ses joyeux personnages semblent réellement se mouvoir sur la surface plane du support. Nicole crée des compositions animées à la manière d’une bande dessinée.

La chanson raconte une conversation entre le chanteur et un groupe d'amis qui s'encouragent les uns les autres en forme de « question-réponse ». Les trois autres Beatles chantent certaines lignes et Starr leur répond à la ligne suivante. L'objectif de Lennon et McCartney était de créer une chanson à reprendre en chœur.
